Mr. Rhee joined S+G as a Staff Engineer in 2026, bringing hands-on experience in environmental compliance. As part of an undergraduate research project on fats, oils, and grease (FOG), he collected and analyzed influent and effluent samples from grease interceptors to evaluate treatment efficiency, using field instrumentation to measure FOG accumulation over time. He documented the operational performance of various remediation technologies, and contributed data relevant to preventing FOG-related sewer blockages.

BIOGRAPHY
Mr. Rhee has a strong academic foundation in environmental engineering along with hands-on experience in water resources, wastewater treatment, and environmental compliance. Prior to joining S+G, he served as a Safety, Environmental, and Health Intern where his responsibilities included reviewing and digitizing stormwater and air permit data to support regulatory compliance tracking, assisting in the implementation of a company-wide Environmental Management System, and developing Excel-based calculations to estimate the company’s carbon footprint for annual sustainability reporting.
Mr. Rhee holds a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from North Carolina State University.
